Om Sri Sai Ram, Attention Devotees!
"The home must resound to the name of Govinda; otherwise, it is just a cave (Guha), where wild animals dwell. The body needs a house, but your body is itself a house. In that house too, the Name of Govinda must be heard, or else it is a mud-pot (Ghata), not a human body. "- BABA

Which is the best place to do our spiritual practices like meditation and bhajans?
Bhagawan explains and encourages us.
Dhana (Money) is the currency of the world; Sadhana (spiritual practices) is the currency of the spirit. When self-styled devotees come to you with their lists and books seeking donations, do not offer them any money. Why do you need a hall to meditate or repeat the Lord’s Name (dhyana or namasmarana)? The presence of others with unlike intentions will more often be a hindrance rather than help; instead make your home a temple, meditate in your own shrine room. Sing bhajans lovingly in your own home! Above all, be an example to others through your conduct - practice soft loving and truthful speech, be humble, and show reverence to elders. Live with faith, steadfastness and truthfulness. That way you will bring more people into the fold of theism than by establishing societies, collecting donations and running temples. Remember, the Lord really cares for sincerity, simplicity and steady joy in the contemplation of His name and form; nothing else! -Sri Sathya Sai Baba- Divine Discourse, Aug 19, 1964 *

Sairam sisters and brothers!
From SWAMY's discourse on May 24,2000 at Brindavan, India during summer course 2000:
God loves dearly, those who possess the qualities enumerated in this sloka (verse) of the Bhagavad Gita.
"Anapeksah Sucirdaksa Udasino Gatavyathah Sarvarambha Parityagi Yo Madbhaktah Same Priyah"
Meaning:
He who is totally devoid of desires,
Absolutely pure,
Firm in determination,
Completely detached, (should not be craving for fame and name)
Immune to the play of Time, (being impervious to the ups and downs brought about by time)
And has renounced pomp and ostentation; (Shun pomp, show, and publicity)
Such a one is dear to Me. GITA: (12.16)
What sort of determination must you have? You must say, "Come what may, I shall not rest till I accomplish this or achieve this." This is the sort of resolve you ought to have.
What is meant by determination? It means having the firm resolve: "I should definitely see God, have God, and secure His Grace." God loves dearly the devotee who has such firm determination. In the end, what should happen?
Out of sheer disgust, the Lord must yield to your wishes!
